| Mr. Lin Chin Chang (Father of President Lin Chi Chin) established Hsin Yung Chien Industrial Co. in Taichung City, with a capital of 600,000 NT dollars, a manufacturing area of 180 square feet, and four employees. They worked hard to start the business with annual business amount of 2 million NT dollars. |

| The founder's son Lin Chi Chin became the president of the company. Mr. Lin was only 25 years old while the company was at the turning point of facing important management tests. |

| The name of the company was changed into King Conveyor Belt Co., Ltd. and the factory site was moved to Nan Kung Industrial Zone in Nantou City. (8,400 square meters of area) |

| All the employees, under President Lin Chi Chin's wise leadership, worked hand in hand and all out. Finally the company was honored with the Innovation and R&D award, by Central Standard Bureau in June. |

| Hsin Yung Chien worked with the Mechanical Industry Research Laboratories of the Industrial Technology Research Institute and developed plastic roller extrusion and automatic assembly. |

| The President was elected as Chairman of Nantou Outstanding People's Association. The company's branch office was established in Northern Taiwan. Factory and equipment expansion was completed. The Bureau of Commodity Inspection of The Ministry of Economic Affairs granted "ISO-9002 International Quality Standard Certification." Five-year development plan was under preparations. The industrial conveyor belt fabric, dipping prescription technology and manufacturing mechanism were introduced from Germany. The company signed technological cooperation project with the Netherlands AKZO NOBEL Company to promote ARAMID belting. |

| President Lin was honored with "4th Session Outstanding SME Leadership of Republic of China" Award and became a national model for honoring the armed forces. He met with former President Li Teng Hui many times under the president's summon. President Lin was elected as Director of Nantou County Imports and Exports Chamber of Commerce. |
